Our new season has now started with regular weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays, 7-10pm. View our new fees under the “Joining” tab – as per recent e-mail updates. Please be so kind to complete any outstanding payments for our summer sessions, thank you :-). If you’re interested in joining us, come down for a taster session during our club nights – it helps if you let us know prior via out contact page, but otherwise just turn up and talk to us.

Hi All,

Our weekly Tuesday only summer club nights have now ended – many thanks to our club members and the many new faces who attended! As the school term doesn’t start until Wednesday, 4th September, there will be no session on Tuesday, 3rd Sept. Our first session will be on Friday, 6th September, 7-10pm and then again regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays, 7-10pm. We will post pricing updates for seasonal membership fees once they’re ratified by the committee. Note that from next week we’ll be returning to our normal annual membership plans (with “taster sessions”), instead of the “pay-as-you-go” approach over the summer.

Hi Players, we have just been informed that the hall was flooded this afternoon! The hall is closed tonight on 9th July 2024!!

Newsflash: The start of our summer sessions 2024 is unfortunately delayed until the start of July! This is due to staffing issues at the venue beyond our control. We will post an update as soon as the new start date is confirmed (most likely 2nd July).

  Our season is ending very soon! The final club night will be on Tuesday, 30th April 2024. As is usual for the last few years, we will have no sessions during May and then we will start again in June for ‘Summer Badminton’ and run through until the end of August. These sessions will only be on Tuesdays until the season starts again in September. We will be posting another update before the start of the summer sessions together with info about the upcoming AGM.

Thank you all for coming to our club nights throughout the long “rainy season”. We look forward to seeing you in the summer (or indeed autumn). Thanks also to our many team players who won countless rallies, created excitement, and almost won more matches than everybody else ;-).

Congratulations, our match season has come to end. As always, our teams recorded many exciting wins and the odd accidental loss ;-), while practising with enthusiasm and unmatched spirit. Now it is time to start the summer season. It will begin on Tuesday, 6th June 2023 at 7:45-10:00pm at King Edwards VII Lower School, our usual venue. We’ll play throughout the summer and always welcome new guests – get in touch or turn up on the night.

We have started to upload a few club night live pics as our regular sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays, both 7-10pm are in  – ahem – full swing. Come down and join us, we’re just 10 minutes from Sheffield city centre by car (see directions) and can easily be reached by bus too (51 to Lodge Moor, get off at Lydgate School).
